Michelle and Mark got married on the beautiful island of Abaco in The Bahamas at a place called Treasure Cay. This place was so fitting and as the name suggests they really treasure each other as well as their family and friends.
We all spent a fantastic week together and had the rare opportunity to capture many days worth of memories. Treasure Cay is rated as one of the “Top 10 beaches in the world” so there was no shortage of beautiful scenery to compliment this amazing couple.
Our trip started with flight to Nassau, The Bahamas where we had about a 3.5 hour layover...which was just enough time to head to Franllard to get a little s’upm to drink and to eat a little Bahamian food.
A short 30 minute flight took us to Marsh Harbour, Abaco and then about 45 minutes later we were at the Bahamas Beach Club on Treasure Cay. After a welcome BBQ dinner and a good night’s rest we greeted the next day with a rush to the 3-mile white sand beach and that incredibly clear water!
During the week Michelle and Mark took some time out for their first ever photoshoot. As you can see, the camera loves them and we had a lot of fun exploring some areas at the tip of Treasure Cay.
Mark and the group took a relaxing morning away from the beach to play some golf. Everyone had a great time on the championship golf course and a few also made a definite fashion statement.
The day before their wedding the strong and brave with their leader Joe erected an arbor which was to be the spot on the beach where Michelle and Mark would exchange their vows. First was a rehearsal though...
Afterwards we all went to Coco’s for a delicious and special rehearsal dinner to thank everyone who helped make that week possible.
Finally, Saturday. It was Michelle and Mark’s big day! The arbor was finally decorated, the chairs were in place and the anticipation of the moment was high.
Mark and the guys looked sharp. Casual and sharp. A sophisticatedly simple presentation that perfectly suited the location and the moment.
Michelle was dazzling...no other way to say it really. Every item she was wearing had a purpose and meaning and she was amazing to behold. This is one bride who knows how to do her hair, makeup, accessorize and puts the ‘ing’ in stunning.

While guests were enjoying cocktails we hurried to some quiet spots on the island for a few memorable photos as the sun began to set for the evening.
Back at the Bahamas Beach Club the reception started. We had a delicious meal, listened to heartfelt speeches and danced the night away under the stars. At the end of the night they released lanterns into the night sky. What a fantastic day! Congratulations Michelle and Mark on the wedding of your dreams!
